Professional Carers Week runs from 16-20 September and is designed to celebrate the essential role and services that care workers provide. The skilled nature of professional care often goes unrecognised, it’s vital to change this perception.
As well as sharing experiences and achievements, the week’s activities also provide a useful resource for those who are thinking of joining the care sector or are interested in the debate on the future of social care. On a more general basis, people are invited to demonstrate their appreciation of professional care workers, perhaps with a card, a cake, small gift or maybe just a smile and a thank you. Our team at The Chiswick certainly won’t be expecting anything but they will surely value the gesture.
