Naomi’s Star Performance Ensures Love is in the Air

Naomi Simon at The Chiswick Nursing Centre

Singer, Naomi Simon brought some genuine stardust and created a great deal of emotion when she entertained us recently.

Singer Naomi Simon brought genuine stardust to Chiswick Nursing Centre recently, delivering a memorable performance that captivated residents and staff alike.

Winner of the BBC’s Young Chorister of the Year in 2022, Naomi is an exceptional young talent. Trained as a soprano soloist and still only 20 years old, she is extremely versatile. She has already sung with Nile Rodgers and Raye, performed the National Anthem at Wembley Stadium for the English Football League and National Football League as well as for the Rugby Football Union and Saracens. She also writes her own songs.

The Chiswick Nursing Centre was the latest gig in her busy calendar and she certainly wowed us all with ‘Over the Rainbow’, ‘Stand by Me’, Nat King Cole’s L-O-V-E and a rendition of Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ that genuinely brought a tear to the eye. When she delivered the line ‘Take My Hand’ it prompted one couple in the room to instinctively do just that.

Chiswick Nursing Centre was the latest stop on her busy schedule, and she delighted everyone with a beautifully chosen programme that included Over the Rainbow, Stand by Me, Nat King Cole’s L-O-V-E, and a heartfelt rendition of Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love. Her performance was so moving that, as she sang the words “Take my hand”, one couple in the audience instinctively reached for each other’s hands—a touching moment that perfectly captured the atmosphere of the afternoon.

We are enormously grateful to Naomi for sharing her remarkable talent and wish her every success in what is promising to be a truly stellar career.
