The creativity, kindness and patience of our activities’ team knows no bounds. They are prepared to go that extra mile to ensure that all of our residents receive quality time, care, mental and physical stimulation.
This is especially important for those who may be too frail or unwell to leave their rooms. They all receive extended one-to-one visits to make them feel included and part of our CNC family. Staff aim to keep these residents engaged and communicative so they might read to them, chat about their lives, listen to favourite music together, do puzzles, play games or other tailored activities that reflect their interests and abilities.
A case in point is our activities’ co-ordinator Diana, who made a jigsaw based on proverbs for one lady. Judging from the smiles on both their faces, we think Diana enjoyed making it as much as both did completing it.
