This delightful, curly coated, pooch in our picture is called Cleo. She has been visiting us, every Friday afternoon, for some time. Residents and staff look forward to welcoming her and her handler. Once on the premises, she goes to see as many people as she can, including those who are not able to leave their rooms or their beds.
Everyone loves to stroke her soft coat. She gets lots of pats and cuddles and her gentle and patient nature mean that she never seems to mind. An additional benefit of curly coated breeds is that they tend not to shed hair so reduce the risk of allergic reaction.
Cleo leaves all of us with smiles on our faces, in a relaxed state of mind and eagerly anticipating her next visit.
