At The Chiswick, we are proud to support our team members as they build their skills and advance in their careers. This month, we’re excited to celebrate the success of 21 employees from various departments (Care Assistants, Maintenance Assistant, Housekeeping Assistants, Activities Coordinator) have passed their Care Certificate training, and 7 of them attended the ceremony today. Certificates were proudly handed out by director Carole Buse and Centre Director SteveWinter.
This achievement reflects their hard work and commitment to mastering 15 essential areas of care, including nutrition and hydration, respecting privacy and dignity, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and preventing infection. The programme, which typically takes around 12 weeks, is documented in a personalised workbook that serves as a career-long resource for continued learning and skill enhancement.
With the guidance of our training team and encouragement from their colleagues, we are confident these team members will go on to pursue further professional development.
