The Raven pub in Goldhawk Road has become an increasingly popular local for some of our staff and residents who have been known to pop in there for a glass, a bite to eat and even a watch of the telly.
Those behind the bar – and Alfie the pub cat – have become great friends. We are immensely grateful to all of them for a community fundraising day of activities with proceeds going to The Chiswick Nursing Centre.
The action-packed day included an indoor market, kids’ activities, live music, raffle – with a tennis racquet as the prize, bingo and a bbq.
CNC residents (and staff) who attended absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. The icing on the cake was a magnificent £500 raised which will towards our activities’ programme.
