Well done to Health Care Assistant, Asha Galami who has become our Employee of the Month for September.
Asha has been with CNC since June of last year but has already made an impression on both residents and staff. She has shown herself to be a reliable, polite and conscientious member of the team on our Buckingham Suite. The suite caters for elderly and frail residents who have dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease or another degenerative neurological condition. This can present particular challenges but Asha looks after all her charges with great care and is always gracious, with a winning smile.
Centre Director, Steve Winter, said: “It gives me great pleasure and enormous reassurance to see our staff do well and progress with their careers here. I know that if they are doing well, then our residents continue to benefit from the best possible care from people who see their roles as more than just a job. Well done to Asha on her award. She is an excellent addition to our team and I hope she will remain with us and achieve more good things here.”
The Buckingham Suite is carefully designed to offer comfortable, first-class accommodation and care for residents who need a high level of specialist dementia nursing. We work closely with family members and encourage them to be as involved as possible in the care of their loved one, so that as many links with home can be retained, as feasible.
We organise a wide range of activities and outings designed to stimulate and challenge the mind and occupy the attention of our residents. They can also enjoy our calming, yet stimulating sensory therapy room, and have direct access to our tranquil garden.
