Earlier this summer, The Raven pub in Hammersmith proved that good pints and good people make for a winning combination. Thanks to the generosity of the pub and its patrons, just over £500 was raised to boost the activities programme here at The Chiswick Nursing Centre.
Molly and Ruby from The Raven came by for a grand tour of the Centre, meeting staff and residents along the way. After seeing the care in action, they handed over the money raised that will bring plenty of smiles and maybe a few hip shakes.
So, what’s next? We’ll be putting the funds to excellent use with a very special event: an Elvis impersonator! Get ready for blue suede shoes, plenty of hip-swinging, and a rock ’n’ roll singalong that will have everyone from the ground floor to the top floor “all shook up.”
